I wasn't aware that there was one of those here? What info do you already have on it?

As far as I know, the Caithness ski club was known as the Morven Ski Club and it packed up in the early 1990s because of a lack of snow.

Caithness Mountaineering and Ski Club

Is there any such thing? Or even a climbing / abseiling club or some such?

It was by the end of the night lol. They were a lovely bunch. :D I am not sure if he was in charge of it but I remember a man called Willie Marshal who seemed to be in charge.

Crikey that brings back memories, I remember the Thursday nights, they could all talk a good climb!! Used to be a standing joke with all the St Clair regulars. We used to wind them up pinching their seats in the corner of the bar, they used to look at us with daggers. Oh the fun LOL.

Late night lock ins, staggering home @ 4am, those were the days!!
