Last Saturday I went for a drive through the Scottish Borders. A driech day, I passed many a tree, hill and glen when bang! - out out of the blue came a little slice of Tibet. I could barely believe my eyes as I gazed upon the entrance to the Samye Ling Buddhist Monastery. You'd never think you were in Scotland. It sounds great. It's a pity we don't have a retreat like this up here. I would love to spend some time there, but it is too far away for me.
