I was interested to find this article, I rarely get the Groat now. It appears that they plan to haul the oil out of Caithness by road to Nigg. What is also not clear is the size of the installation onshore and where it will be sited. Does Lybster or even Wick know what is lying ahead?:confused

Well somebody appears to know what lies ahead in the area, hence all the new shopping facilities in the Wick area. I'm not sure I fancy all the tankers on the roads though.

would it not make more sense and be more cost effected to take the oil to wick and store it in the old kestral towers and then ship it by boat when there is enough ???????????
