Any surfers?

Are there any other learner surfers about here that would like someone to go out practicing with? I've been going to sandside, but honestly going out there alone is a wee bit daunting. The last time I was out (a couple of months ago) I was joined by 2 local girls, and it was a lot more fun. I stayed in a bit longer than them though, and didn't catch their names, or I would have asked to join them again sometime.

So if anyone here is learning to surf (nothing too heavy, I'm too young to die!), and fancies it, just let me know!
