Why is it that when you pay for something by Debit Card, the money comes straight out of your bank account, but if you are waiting on a refund it takes up to a week for the money to go back in? :confused

Put Simply....interest on the money!

Most companies, has a returns process which is 'less automatic' than the sales order process.
It is really annoying, the longest i waited was 7 weeks.:eek:

If it was a electrical item then normally they don't process a refund until the returned item has been logged, tested and confirmed to be faulty.
