I apologize if there's already been a thread on this, but has anyone else noticed that messages posted in the games/jokes forums don't count towards your message numbers? or is it just me?

Anyone know the reason for this?

It probably isn't meant to. I know a lot of boards turn off post counts in their games section because it's fairly spammy and pointless. Might be the same here.

Yeah, the posts on the games & jokes threads don't go toward your count. I guess this is because you can just do one after another. :Razz

Yes Rockchick, Admin decided in August last year to stop allowing posts in the "game section" to be counted. The result being that anyone who participated found that their post count dropped drastically without warning!

It wouldn't be fair to include all the games and jokes posts, quality not quantity is the key!

Some of the joke posts are much higher quality than some of the drivel that is posted in the general listings (right Johno?)

I went backwards between Fri and Sun, its a shame about not counting the Jokes etc I spend more time on this one.
Julia your avatar need to be re sized, if you look on the section on avatars and why they were chose, someone gave me a link to re size anamated GIF, it works brill, but on phone, its on computer.

My animated Snoopy dance avatar didn't dance until I resized it at a website that was recommended elsewhere on here (link: http://www.gifworks.com/cgi-bin/gifworks.pl (http://forum.caithness.org/go.php?url=http://www.gifworks.com/cgi-bin/gifworks.pl) ). It has to be less than 80 x 80. It's worth a try.

Thank you WelcomeFamily and RockChick, easy when you know how eh? I resized it using the url you gave me RockChick, must bookmark that for future ref, it's a handy site. ;)
