tomtom go 300 convert to tomtom go 500, can it be done

tomtom go 300 convert to tomtom go 500,700 etc

if so please advise.

Looking on TomToms' site I don't think so. The 500 runs on more powerful hardware which means the 300 might not be able to handle the 500's software, if that makes sense.
