reputation on a members post???

Sorry there is a few questions about the little scales that appear on a post, i was wondering can any of you nice orger's help out thank you:D

Can you view your reputation, like who rated you and what for ect??

What's it for, do you get points or something for being rated with a good or bad reputation??

If you click on User CP it will tell you who has given you rep points and what for :D
