I'd have my mum, because I miss her too. Elvis as my mum adored him and he'd sing just for her. Princess Diana for all the Goss from the hereafter and her wit and humour. Jock Stein, cos we need some help to calm gordon doon a bit and gie him some decent advice. Magic Martin O'Neill, it would be great listening to him & Jock. Harry Secombe, for his fun & laughter and a song or two. Anthony Cotton from Corrie, he'd get on well wi Diana and she'd love his patter! Nanoo because we could experiment with e cocktails, Karia because she would bring an aura of calm to the table and commonsense ;) Not forgetting the acid tongue of Kenneth Williams . Yep, Thumper that would be my first lot of guests, and did you HAVE to double book Johno? [lol]

I would like to share a meal with Gandhi, he is my all time hero, and he can always use a meal with all that fasting he did, he would be at the head of the table, no meat though. I would also have Martin Luther King, Bob Marley, Nelson Mandela, Dalai Lama, John Lennon, Tom Hanks, James Stewart, Robert De Niro, Robin Williams, Jimi Hendrix. Also The Marx Brothers, Laurel and Hardy, Charlie Chaplin and The Three Stooges for some rioutous laughter! I would be doing the cooking because thats one thing I am good at, although I might invite Keith Floyd to introduce each dish and pour the wine, always like him and he was a big fan of The Stranglers which means he is cool in my book :Razz

Just one question before I send out the invitations......how big will this dinner table be?
Looks like I'll need to rent a banqueting hall already, with Org pals I'd love to meet and family (including some sadly no longer "with us") that just must be there...
I'm sure the Org could supply everyone that's needed to cook the meal and provide geat music and other entertainent...but I would rather like to invite Jose Mourinho ...just to look at, of course....;)

I'll just hire the assembly rooms for all orgers are invited to my tables. Special invitations go out to Anneoctober and Laguna2 as they are pals and of course Johno who is a pal too but he will keep the whole hall entertained with his wit. Guests of honour will be Elvis Presley(cause i love him) Rock Hudson(cause he is so handsome and will cause a stir in the hall) and Tom Cruise, he will be serving the drinks to all(for obvious reasons, COCKTAIL the movie) Last but by no means least, Anneoctobers granny and my own granny, because they both provide a wealth of answers to our quizes and i want to pick their brains. Menu will be supplied by Ainsley Harriot, he is witty as well as a good chef. Waiters will be Chippendale lookalikes. I intend it to be a memorable night for all. [lol]

LOL Canuck - I'd love a trip south but fear my skills would be in little demand! Computers - Yes, DIY - Not my strongest suit. Always up for some good grub tho' so pass the menu by me and my DIY skills might miraculously get better so I can still qualify for my invite [lol]
