thats not the point of the post as to the quality or the readership of the sun. its suposed to a comment on how well our troops are doing out in iraq and afgan. far to offten its all doom and gloom. and the government think that a 125 quids going to stop troops leaving ....fools

Didn't notice any reports about it in any of the other papers. Perhaps they didn't want to distress their readers by telling them something good about our Armed Forces.

They believe that doing such things should be avoided at all costs. It’s not very PC in this day and age when you are only supposed to hear the bad things about them. :roll:

Maybe I am reading the wrong papers but I have not heard many bad things about the troops. I have heard a lot of negative of press about the war and our involvement but from what I have read the troops still have the support of the press and they certainly have the support of the people!
