well, we are just back from our trip 'oop north' , and I'd like to say we had a brilliant time. We took two of our Norfolk friends with us (they'd never been to Scotland before), and the they thought it was great, W e did the whole touristy thing. We went to the old pulteney and glenmorange distillery. did a trip to Orkney. and went up west . brill!! I'd like to thank our families who entertained us so well, Diane Ferrier of the Bramhills Guest House in Francis Street, Wick , who put up with us for a week, The Francis Street Club, Wick, who entertained us excellently. We went to the Scottish Night in the Pipe band hall in Wick and that wes excellent.and all the restaurants in Wick we went to during the week. and to all the friends we met over the week ....Thank you all.:)
