Has anyone else read the Talking to God... (http://forum.caithness.org/go.php?url=http://forum.caithness.org/go.php?url=http://forum.caithness.org/go.php?url=http://www.fullmoon.nu/articles/art.php?id=tal) thing in Mr_Me19's signature? It's not deep but it can be thought provoking if those thoughts have not been provoked in you before, if you're under 18, or if you like Noel Edmonds.

There's a bit about collective consciousness here (http://forum.caithness.org/go.php?url=http://forum.caithness.org/go.php?url=http://forum.caithness.org/go.php?url=http://www.fullmoon.nu/articles/art.php?id=tel). It's not for Noel Edmonds fans but the under 18s might enjoy it.

Hope you don't mind me nicking your idea Mr_Me19.

Got about a third of the way through and I have to go. It's interestin, and I feel like there is bound to be some kind of catch somewhere. I don't see why God couldn't present himself anyway he pleases though.
But I always Mr_Me19, was a christian of some kind, there seems to be a few of us wandering about on the org. :Razz
I will go back and finish reading the rest, though, just to see where it goes. I am foolish enough to hope it is for real. I like the thought of God waylaying unsuspecting travellers. Seems right up his ally.

I took a look at the length of it before I started and gave in. Love the Grateful Dead patch picture in the top corner. Got anything shorter Crayola??

Just kidding, I will try and read it all tomorrow when I have more time :Razz

WOO! I'M POPULAR!!!! .....ish..... Lol.

I think its a really interesting story. Gets your head going. And not just for those under 18. Another interesting read is Isaac Asimov's 'The Last Question'. You can read it here (http://filer.case.edu/dts8/thelastq.htm).

And just to clear things up I am NOT a christian in any way, shape or form. Lol. Maybe I should state that in my sig too.... :confused

Asimov's tale has worn rather well, all things considered.

My point about Noel Edmonds fans not reading the collective consciousness letter was not that they wouldn't understand it. Rather, they might just believe it. :D

I think both stories that mr_ me 19 has pointed us towards are very thought provoking.Even if you have had these thoughts before it does make you ponder upon them again! It seems quite fitting at the moment considering the other threads that are on the org.x

I was brought up a christian. You know how that turned out.... Lol.

I am a man of science (love that quote). We can't explain everything using science yet but we will be able to in time. In my OPINION religion is making up reasons that science cannot YET explain.
