Does anyone have a recipe for Tiffin (Tiffen?) ? I have searched various web sites and cant find any reference.

otherwise Tiffin is just a name used for a light meal :)
I used to love tiffin!Word of warning though the last time I had it ,it was directly from the fridge and I lost a tooth :( havent eaten it since then funnily enough :D x

What an interesting site, not just for the recipes but for the stories told, example - The Sooty Scone, Scottish Life in 1730, The Christening Meal, and on and on ! Wonderful stories these are . Thanks windswept.
