I wonder where you are and what you're at?
In your favourite place you now forever lie,
Maybe watching still through emerald eye.

For those who loved you so,
It was hard to let you go.
But there comes a time to say farewell.
But stories of you they'll still tell.

Fond memories of you too they'll keep,
Although for a while they'll weep.
But as the sadness fades away,
They'll mind the happy day you came to stay.

Thank you Lizz for the lovely poem. I know that Foxy (my cat) was lucky to have 9 good years due to the fact she was diagnosed with feline leukaemia when she was about 6 weeks old and we were advised to put her to sleep, but even at that age she was a character and we decided to give her a chance at life which she definately gripped with both paws. :D

You gave Foxy 9 years in a loving home which I am sure she was very grateful for.

It is so sad when we have to part with a much loved pet and I am thinking of you.
