It's a strange sort of recommendation, but if you have a choice of hospitals to go to then the Raigmore is excellent.
I had to rush my young daughter there on wednesday night. Everything was ready when we arrived, the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We were well looked after over the next few days. Nursing quality was excellent (Ward 1A, ENT) at all times. If you are having to go to the Raigmore I would say that you should not worry as they seem to be very good at looking after patients and the people arriving with patients.:cool:
Also the car parking fees are good. £1 for any length of time, which was a good job as I was there for a few days, compared with about £5 for a few hours at the JR in Oxford last time I was there.[disgust]
