Does anyone know where I can buy one of those heavy duty rotary washing lines, with the handle to make it go up and down, and roughly how much they cost?
Cheers.

I bought a sturdy one with a wind up handle from Allan's of Gillock. It cost about £120 a couple of years ago.

Thanks for all that, have seen the vileda ones in homebase and argos but wasn't sure if they are sturdy enough for our weather.

I recommend the top of the range brabantia. It has survived over 10 years in Orkney

I bought mine from Thurso Building supplies last year. It is the heavy duty one with the handle called a Hills Clothes Dryer. It takes lots of washing. They got it in for me. It was about £125.00. They may have them in now but if not they will order for you. It does not take long. i should have had one years ago.
