My 10 year old daughter is keen on fishing (and keen that I will join her). We catch Mackerel and Pollack, and only keep what we can eat.

I have devised a number of little recipes, although I am certainly no cook; but can never get all the bones successfully removed. Could anyone oblige with an easy method for fish bone removal?

Thanks

I have used eyebrow tweezers in the past.

your best bet would be tweezers to remove the bones you can buy fish bone removing tweexers but normal ones would be just as good

A sharp knife is a must, used to fish years ago, now I find it easier to go to the fish shop.

I still long for the long days of solitude and contemplation which fishing provided me with. A great stress buster and problem solver.
