Does anyone know if the local by-laws are passed to stop people drinking in public - obviously there will be alot of people out on floats 'sampling' a drink or two, and I do not wish to be sharing a cell with a few hundred other people!!!! I don't suppose it will stop people (or me) tomorrow night.

By Law has been passed no going outside into the street with an open bottle of beer/lager or any other type of alcohol wether in a glass or not. :(

so is it ok to take a bottle of cola on the float for when you get thirsty, Will the upholders of the law want to sample non alcoholic drink containers?
