The Blairs and the Browns on TV tonight

Oops, my attempt to start a whimsical thread has fallen flat on its face.

Did anyone watch Life on Mars last night? I think it was a re-run. Anyways, Sam and Annie were playing man and wife in a surveillance operation back in 1973. Sam introduced himself as Tony Blair and his 'wife' as Cherie. Gene turned up at the party with a young 'professional' lady. Sam introduced Gene as Gordon Brown but he couldn't remember Gordon's wife's name so the lady in question introduced herself as Suki. Well, I thought it was really funny. :)
