does anyone know a place where i can get a windscreen chip treated before it spreads into a crack. a lorry chucked a stone up today.

The only name that immediately springs to mind is Autoglass. I would check it with whoever does your car insurance, i know if you are fully comp they can usually arrange to have it fixed free.

We got it done under our insurance it was Autoglass it didn't cost us anything but it only lasted 6 months. At the time the guy did it he said there was a chance it would crack and split further.

If you are fully comp, then you should be able to have it done by most national companies and it does n't affect your NCB. We use Benny Nicolson in Wick, unless we have windscreen replacements going on at the same time. He's a nice mannie :D
