Due to a mix up by the Groat an advert I was going to place this week will not be appearing, hence I am advertising on the forum as the puppies are ready for their new homes now.

I have Kennal Club registered black Labrador Puppies for sale and at the moment I have:-

1 Black Bitch
3 Black Dogs

I own both the parents and I have carried out all the health tests that SHOULD be done when trying to ensure healthy puppies. These puppies have an excellent pedigree which is a combination of show dogs, working dogs and field trial dogs. They have brains and beauty and are not slightly built like a lot of the working/field trial lines are. They will have broad heads and will be substantially built. As an example the dam weighs approximately 34kgs and the sire is 39kgs and neither are carrying excess weight.

I feed all my dogs on the Raw Meaty Bones principal and they are not fed any commercial dog food. The puppies have been weaned onto a raw diet and a small supply of food will be given in the puppy pack to get you started.

The dam has been hip scored (4/7) and has a current clear eye test.

The sire has been hip scored (3/4), elbow scored (0/0), has a current clear eye test and has been Optigen tested for PRA (a form of blindness) and is Normal/Clear.

Both dogs have excellent natures and these puppies will make superb pets or working dogs.

Unfortunately I have had a cancellation and some time wasters hence not all the puppies from this litter being sold.

The price is £450 for each puppy and they come with an information booklet, a small supply of food, toy and a small amount of holistic wormer.

If you do your research first you will see that this is the average price for a WELL BRED QUALITY PEDIGREE LABRADOR.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MINE BY CALLING IF YOU ARE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT PURCHASING A PUPPY

Hi,

Yes I have 3 pups left, 1 adorable girl and two solid boys. I am keeping the best boy out of the litter for myself.

These puppies are now 8 weeks old and are partly house trained. Drop me a mail if you are interested?

Use this link and you will see a pic of the last girl taken a couple of weeks ago.

Bumping up...

Unfortunately the right homes hasn't come along yet for two lovely boys. One of the boys was my second choice to keep and I have now finally made my decision on which one I wish to keep for showing.

They are now 10 weeks old and house training is coming along exceptionally well. Both of them will make an excellent loyal loving pet or working dog for the right family. They have already been taken out and are used to traffic, people, all household noises, in fact they love the hoover, visitors, loud noises as I have two teenage boys and every other day to day things. They are also used to being left for short periods of time whilst I am walking the other dogs or out shopping.

We have nicknamed them Bolo and Zippy.

I would really love these pups to go to wonderful forever homes as they need individual attention but I will look after them, train them and contiue with socialisation until the right loving home comes along.

Please contact me if you are interested in either of these boys.

Zippy has got a lovely home to go to :) He will be staying with us an extra few weeks while they are on holiday which I am more than happy to do.

Bolo is still waiting for the right home to come along. The price for Bolo is negotiable for the right family home.

Stop it Crustyroll - I am sooo tempted right now. Hubby has refused to come look at the pics & our yellow lab, who rules the roost around here, says "Grumph"!

Hope you find the perfect family for Bolo soon. :)

Moira, you should drag your husband to look at him..

My husband is the same, he won't look at any more pictures of Labs as we have too many already!

I would never have just one dog again as they so enjoy each others company. Even my 'alpha bitch' who decides when she speaks to any newcomers would be lost without her mates. Also, once you get a black, you won't go back to yellow ;)

I am delighted to say that it looks like Bolo has found his home after all :o)

He will be leaving us shortly but I'm sure not before he has chewed another paper or door handle! He already knows his own mind and will give you a bark for attention. We will all miss him but I know he is going to a good home and will get the one to one attention that they all need when growing up.

Delighted to hear he has a home and hope he settles in quickly and you don't miss him too much. He sounds very like our Stroma who is trying to work through the handles in our kitchen given the chance!

Unfortunately, carasmam, I am not the lucky new owner though .... I wish.... but I agree with you - what a face!

Best of luck to Bolo and the other pups in their new homes :D

Hi there i just thought i should introduce myself, Bolo is now a part of our family, we are thinking about changing his name as the kids keep calling him polo!!! Which isnt very masculine!
I would like to say a big thankyou to Andrea & Lawerence for all they have done to make the trancission as smooth as possible for Bolo.
He is so well behaved for his age, he is totally house trained - well no accidents so far! lol! He does as asked to sit & give paw, he is so clever...
The family are so happy that we have got him, pics to follow soonx:D

I am so delighted that Bolo has settled in well and look forward to seeing pics of him as he grows up. I hate to say it, but I have missed him coming over to me and giving his paw. Dino and Zippy are special but they didn't have the cheekiness that Bolo has, the house does seem a little quieter : (

I hope that Bolo is everything you want him to be and he gives you many happy years of love and laughter, oh and lots of 'pulling your hair out' times as well! Thank you so much for wanting him x

Anyone with labs, head over to www.labradorforums.co.uk (http://forum.caithness.org/go.php?url=http://www.labradorforums.co.uk) and introduce yourselves, it's a brilliant site to get info and just chat about labradors.

PS.. I haven't forgotten all the other owners out there and I know all the pups have gone to brilliant homes. I'm hoping to see a few of them soon and can't wait!
