When/why does a thread get closed, become hot/sticky/sultry?

Why/how do some topics move back "up the list"?

How do I upload a photo of me in my "boxers" as a delightful avatar?

Hot - 500 views or 30 posts.

Move up on your list - List is sorted by last post, when someone posts on an older thread it moves to the top again.

Avatar - Need to become an .Orger
