recording studios

hi there
can anyone help am looking for information on recording studios in caithness (if possible) -does anyone have any numbers and contact details -can anyone advise on prices etc.. Our son is in a band and the boys are looking to record a demo but as they are all either in or just out of school cost is an issue.

does anyone have good experience of recording locally

Nemesis used Murkle Bay for recording then went to 'Doc Rock' for mixing
the end product was pretty good and it cost us about £150 altogether
