Here are few pictures from a camping trip. We set up camp and this wallaby and her joey came down to say G'day.

These are some more from the same trip. It was at Coolah Tops National Park.
The second one is a drovers cottage.

My friend used to live about 200km north west of Bourke, her car broke down when she was here, so Dave and I put it on the back of a truck and drove 12hrs out and delivered her and the car home. It was incredibley dry at the time. The patches of green grass are where she ran her waste water. It was the only green for hundreds of kilometres

the second pic of the wallaby looks evil....

Fluff, the thing was evil, it would attack you if you didn't feed it stuff. And in the morning it was outside the door of the camper, being very demanding, and going through our stuff, looking for food!!!

Here's another one from our drive out west. This is what the road looks like out of the windscreen of the truck. Complete with splattered bugs.

Anyone ever heard of the book and movie, "Picnic at Hanging Rock"?
It's an Australian mystery and it was said to be a true story. No one really know if it is real or not, but it is a good read.
Dave and I visited the setting a couple of years ago and there was a definate eerrie feel about the place.
What was really funny was that when we got to the top, we couldn't find the way back down. So there was Dave and I, clambering down over rocks and sliding down chasms. After about an hour of this, and trying not to get too panicky, we looked over and found that we were about 10 metres from the paved pathway complete with handrail.
We quickly scrambled back onto the path and laughing hysterically made our way back to safety.

He was probably bored spitless. He's not really into the footy. My Father is fanatical, so at my parents house, it's footy or nothing.
