Help me with a childs science project

Can any of our Scientists help me, does anyone know how to power a household lamp bulb from a potato?
I have never seen this myself but I have been asked if I can help

This is how I used to do it.

1. Screw the bulb into a lamp...
2. Plug the lamp into a wallsocket.
3. Take the potato and use it to flick the socket swith to "on"...

Quite simple really :o)

Remember to throw the potato at the switch to make use of the remote control feature or throw the potato at the bulb to make use of the dimmer switch feature.
