this is for all the harry potter lovers in caithness and sutherland . tesco is open till 1am tonight so you can get your books . the book will be on sale from midnight .

If you spend £50 in a single shop then yes (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6907855.stm). A bit annoying as I will be through in Wick at the weekend to do the big shop and will probably spend that but I am getting it at midnight in Jim Bews for £10.99. Which is still a massive saving on the RRP :Razz

I heard today that Childline will be opening extra lines to deal with all the distraught kids who are affected by the unfortunate demise of someone or other in the latest/last book. So in effect some kid phoning up moaning about the death of a ficticious character could in fact stop a real child in need from getting through on that line! What is the world coming to!

I am proud to say I have never read a single Harry Potter book or seen any of the movies!!

Have just been to my local tesco periodic tannoy announcements saying that they would be open until 1am as our local Asda /Wal Mart is 24 hrs I expect they will be busy !!

I too have never read or seen a Harry Potter book or film

admire J K Rowling though :lol:

There will be many tired children (and adults) tomorrow who will read the last book at midnight until it's 700+ pages are finished!!

tescos offer is if you spend 30pound on shopping you will get the book for a fiver but you have to buy your shopping and book in one sale .
