Finally got to try out my new toy, just learning the settings and how different it is, but it doesn't look bad so far :)

what a beaut pic tuggs and the colour is really nice, now get out there and take and post some piccys of caithness for me . jan x lybster area would be nice for me as thats where i used to live. thanks in advance !!

That's a beautiful pic of the view looking towards Thurso, Tuggs. Was it taken from Scrabster farm? The vivid verdancy of the grass is stunning, and a superb contrast to the ominous looking grey clouds! :cool:

Sporran it was taken on the lane that runs up to the old quarry about level with the 'Polo Mint' on the hill above Scrabster Farm. Still playing with the settings on this one, getting there slowly, it's a lot less 'noisy' than the D70 i had which i am impressed at. Took this one after work last night about 7.40pm but for some reason the exif is storing when i do anything in post processing and i have no idea why :(

The colours are just brilliant Tuggs is as if your looking out your window.
Think I'll pinch the last one for my screen saver too:)
