How do visitors manage, it seems that a couple of visitors last week were staying in Wick at a bed & breakfast and had heard that in the summer the pipe band played in the evenings at weekends.
So they go to the "visitors centre" in Wick - a counter upstairs in Mcallums look for leaflets, don't seem to be any - ask for information on pipe band - told sorry cannot help you don't know.
Return to B & B they did not know but suggest that they check out Caithness.Org "everything is listed there". Great but where can you find somewhere to log on to Caithness.org on a Saturday afternoon even the library is closed.
Does anyone else have comments on the Tourist Centre even www.caithness.org shows the following for the Wick Tourist centre oops !

An information point is now located at Norseman Hotel
For Visitors once they are in Wick. A FREE phone is located there to contact local places to stay.
