Am i right in thinking that the marine was up for sale ? If so does anyone know if it is still up for sale, and who the selling agent is ?

i beleive it is sold, well i was told who has supposedly bought it, but dont think it right to post on hear, the agents were young robertson & co.

The Marine Inn.....ahhh fond memories of the crack with the fishermen such as Gilbert Reid and men of that ilk, the humour and the kindness we received as exiles up on holiday, its was "oh your Isa's boy, hev a dram, hows your mither doing, when's she coming up again, are ye for anither?"...Hospitality like that cannot be found else where except in Kaitness :)
But oh the hangover next day :(

I was only ever in the place once myself - during a mate's stag night. It was a warm evening with the sun just going down and we went out the side door and sat on the embankment and steps w' oor drams - peace, quiet and tranquility (well as much as you can on a stag night anyway :lol:!)
