Here's hoping that they use it as a Christmas indoor market and maybe a craft fayre in the summer . Some brain storming needed and forward thinking . THURSO was looking to do this type of thing at the railway station building ,by pushing the railtrack back outside the building line ,glassing in the end to make one huge indoor space with a cafe ,visitor section ,disable toilets ,small shop and new ticket office and a huge usable space but parking was the problem . Now with the new Premier inn parking should No longer be a problem . Just hope that the new community council can get things going so the community and young folk in Wick and Thurso can have more choice . The community needs to come together to find uses for the empty shops and building to help offset Dounreays rundown. Orkney have got their small business community sorted ,why can't we ?
