Hello all,

Well, I gave my termination notice to my current employer and I will be starting a new job in Thurso next month -11th of July to be exact.

So, I need your help. I will need a place to live, so, if anyone knows of any rental property, minimum a one bedroom flat/house for around 300 pounds per month, please let me know.

A bit about me. I'm American, from California (yea, I know, why did I leave California!?!), Though, I have been living in Europe since 1991. Actually, in England for 10 years, and recently the last 3 1/2 years in Germany. I thought I'd try Scotland for a change! :lol:

Talking about Germany, well, I never did learn the German language very well, so, I hope to find people looking to improve/learn German who I can get together with so I too can improve and further learn the German language.

As for a place to stay, any suggestions/help, would be appreciated! (I did look under the "Property for Rent" in Caithness.Org, but not much there).

found this on Mortgage Shops website, others are on there too but some are out of Thurso and unsure if you have transport, local newspapers (Caithness Courier, John O'Groat Journal) usually have a 'To Let' section also.
