Well, this isn't my desktop - it's my screensaver - but it's terrific, so I'll tell you about it anyway. We've had a digital camera since they first came out so have got years and years' worth of photos on pc. The pc picks them out randomly and does them as a slide show so you never know what will pop up.

It makes me smile a lot - seeing people and places and good memories suddenly that I've not thought of in a while.

So sometimes I sit and watch the screensaver like a real saddo instead of what I'm supposed to be doing.

Got this amongst others from a newsgroup (Usenet) devoted to nature photos. The whole gorgeous series was of sunset photos. I've had this as my desktop for a couple of months now.

This one is San Juan Islands, Puget Sound, Washington

I take 50 then choose the best.

I change mine every week with some of the beautiful photos all the orgers take..........if i cant live up there at least i can look at it up there so THANK-YOU all for the brill photos... jan x:D

I have my 3 kids sitting in their grandparents back garden last summer sitting so naturally not knowing that i was taking a pic, best ones i have of them are when they don't know :D

Got a beautiful photo of Dunnet Head lighthouse in glorious sunshine. Can't for the life of me work out how to copy it onto this thread though!
