We propose to deliver a Site Management Safety Training Scheme Refresher Course (SMSTS-R) on Monday, 25 June – Tuesday, 26 June 2018.
The SMSTS Refresher course is a 2-day Site Management training course for delegates who have previously passed the full 5 day Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course. Candidates must be able to provide proof of attendance to the full SMSTS course to be eligible for the two-day SMSTS Refresher course.
By the end of the course the delegate will:
Gain knowledge in the Health and Safety at Work Act & CDM Regulations 2015
Have a greater knowledge of site set-up, Risk Assessments/Method Statements and Working at Height
Better understand the Health and Safety implications of working with scaffolding, electricity, excavations, demolition and confined spaces
Have an awareness of any recent changes in accepted working practices and behavioural safety
