Wow, last time I saw one of those was in Jimmy Gunn's green house in Raey. Do you know the story behind the flower, disciples, apostles etc....?

Well I don't know of any of you remember Jimmy Gunn from Raey, a huge ornotholigist and horticulturist, he also collected moths and butterflies, the man was a legend one of the nicest guys I ever met, he also used to produce his own begonias by cross pollination, anyways he told me some story along the lines about the flower representing the disciples on the outside, but his flower had 12 petals I thought and this one has ten, also the crown of thorns is represented on there and also the apostles, but I vaguely remember it so I did some googling and found some other sources, basically the passiflora or Passion Flowers relate to the Passion of the Christ. Check out this one

and

neither of those mention disciples or apostles so I guess people make up their own versions along the way.
