We have recently been informed that someone is targeting vulnerable adults in the Pultneytown Area. They are claiming to be from the Foodbank delivery team and once inside the house are refusing to leave until they have been paid.
The Foodbank will NEVER cold call.
The Foodbank will NEVER ask for money.
If you do not have a pink/red Foodbank form and do not remember ringing for a Foodbank delivery then please DO NOT open the door.
If in doubt lock your door, ask the person to wait and ring 101 the Foodbank delivery team will be happy to wait for a constable to come out and check they are the genuine thing.
The SAFETY of our users is more important than our timetable.
