Door to door window sales men

Just wondered if anyone had 2 men at there door asking if we needed new windows and cladding and loft insulation, no offer of a business card or nothing not very fourth with company name, was told they were only here today, then told they could measure up tomorrow ( Thursday ) this was in the mount Vernon area about 16:30

only here today but could measure up tomorrow?, sounds about right for a pair of shysters out on the scam. They no doubt would measure up the value of the contents of your house whilst looking through the windows and attempt to part you from a deposit too. Reputable companies have ID, shout out the name and will happily make an appointment to come back another day to try to sell you some windows, scammers take the money and run!

Someone had these people come to their door in Wick and unfortunately had their dog stolen out of their garden later that day. They also found some red sticker beside their letterbox. So please be wary.
