can someone please tell me do you pay by capacity to empty your tank or is it a one off price.:roll:

A friend of mine has a contract with Scottish Water to have her one emptied yearly this year the charge is £124 There are two other call out fees I think an emergency which will cost the earth and general empty you call they arrive. Try their web site it will tell you . :D

A one off call is around £280 (from memory). Scottish Water will come out within a few days if you need them to. You can sign up to a contract for around £120 per annum but you should not need the tank emptied every year, if it's working correctly.:mad:

Looks like an emergency empty is £295 this year, but if it lasts three to four years as it should, it seems a better option than £134 yearly.
There also are charges for extra capacity tanks.
