Drivin to Glasgae fae Thurso on a bus
The first drink o the day, there wisnae no fuss
Stopped in Ballinluig for a piss and a beer
Killie fans in Ballinluig, man it looked so queer

Then we arrived at Hampden, the tension was mounting
300 Gers to 10 Killie,believe me I was counting
Foond oor seats and the blue and white were together
While the Gers fans swarmed roond Hampden live a river

Game had started and the Killie choir began
Rejoicing the songs, every woman and man
"We are Killie,We are Killie no-one likes us we don't care"
The goosepimples rising fae the bald spot in ma hair

But ma fingers were crossed and so were ma toes
"Oh Gers please don't score",I pleaded for ma woes
Cos a group of ten were us Thurso crowd
Singin the songs mighty and loud

But a secret we had on that semi-final day
Not everythin it seemed at first they do say
For in among the 10 fae Thurso, noo this might sound silly
7 liked the Gers, the other 3 for the Killie

Then 1 got excited and shouted "Ally McCoist I love ye"
Big daggers fae a big Killie wummin for everyone to see
The 1 turned to the Killie wummin"I ain't a hun"
"Its just I think he's got a nice bum"

0-0 it finished was bound for a replay
But the 10 fae Thurso widnae be there on that day
Ma nerves couldnae take it,which for me was good news
Cos their ain't no time for the fitbaw Killie blues
