As a bit of interest as the Westminster government tells folks to turn off lighting to save energy here is a map to show where the problem occurs
and maybe the future holds.....

So maybe thats where the output of all the windmills in Caithness will be going to....interconnector at Whaligoe to Camster ,Burn o Whilk and Houstry
