We are coming up to C&S in a few weeks and will break in Inverness
for lunch.
Apart from the 'Mustard Seed', we are unfamiliar with local eateries.
Where would you recommend and ( just as importantly!) where should we avoid.:)

It would be useful if the lunch seving times were flexible in case of traffic.

Thanks, Karia.

mustard seed is very good, also roc pool same owners as mustard seed and also two on top of castle street, up past mcdonalds cafe uno or something like that, and a tapas bar a few doors up from that is quite nice also.

Thanks buggyracer, have looked into your suggestions, rocpool looks very upmarket and a tad imposing for ordinary folks,..but the tapas place has a fab menu and is just the sort of picky, nibbly stuff that great lunches are made of...and it has a delicatessen!

we'll be carting choritzo all round the highlands...yum!:D

appreciate it, KariaXX
