Plastic Milk Bottle Tops

Does anyone know of any charitable organisation that collects the coloured caps off the tops of plastic milk bottles?

I have collected lots and lots of tops in the past, supposidly to fund a wheelchair for a disabled child, but alas I found out it was a scam - a rather sick scam. Apparently the amount you can get for each top, that is to be recycled, is so little it is not worth while collecting them. If anyone has any news about who is collecting them I would be interested.
