A 10th rate DJ at £14 a pop? Hmm... what's wrong with Nasthinho at Liquid? I hear he's a cut above the rest in town, though, no thanks to Cardosi Enterprises, won't be edging out Skins' resident Geordie anytime soon. And more's the pity.

I hear Shakin' Stevens is coming to Skins soon. Nuff' said.

It was a bit of a rip off at £14 a ticket, didnt play choons as good as he does on radio 1. Some people obviously thought he was a god though! hilarious! :lol:

It looks to me like a bunch of young people having a good time. Ok, so maybe some of them appear to have had a wee bit too much to drink, but I can't say I didn't do similar things at their age. In fact, I will admit to having indulged a little this last weekend too.

At least they're not wearing hoodies so they must be ok. ;)

mmm- looks like a good night. I never realised there were so many attractive women in Thurso - they usually look a little bit more shabby and dingy except on the one day a year when the sun shines :roll: . And SO many women there, just a mere couple of balding blokes by the looks of it - ooo if I were 10 years younger! :D

Its great seeing these pictures of Flicks again, I can never remember what the place looks like as I have to be blazing to even want to go there (see binge drinking thread). Last I remembered it had a separate upstairs and downstairs and the DJ shouted at anyone who danced too close to the DJ Booth as it made his records jump....

I thought it was good. I was more excited about Edith whats-her-face coming up. lol... is it Bowman? Something like that. 'Cept she's cancelled, but should be coming up on a different date. So still happier about that than Pearce.

As for worth my money, I'm not so sure. I seemed to have way more fun last night (DJ Andy is ace) than I did at Dave Pearce.

And cullbucket, I hear that it's due for another refurbishment. not sure if it's true or not. I hope so. My feet keep sticking to that carpet and my skirt last night kept sticking to the railings at the side of the dance floor! lol

Massive respect to dave pearce but his pop cheese tunage dont do it for me no more.....soon we might have "Addiction" Hosting outdoor events in caithness something better to look forward to....As for edith bowan..thats insane its like having Dj Rankin Do an hour set

from what i make of the Edith situation, she's cancelled the 8th of July date but its being re-scheduled. i'll ask at work though
