Missing a dog?

There was a dog at Georgemas Junction station this afternoon (Monday), clearly lost and missing an owner. It ran up to me on the platform, seemed very friendly, but timid enough to run off again.
I'm guessing it had just wandered off from the walk area nearby, so maybe somebody out there has been looking for their dog, and hopefully found it?
