Today I bought and read Stroma by Roddy Ritchie, Alistair Murray and George Gunn.
There are some wonderful photographs by Roddy Ritchie and some fabulous recollections of Stroma life by those who lived there.
Murray's narrative is sadly weak and a little wishful and Gunn's verse is as gratuitous as ever and as always significantly weaker than the remainder.
These weaknesses aside I enjoyed the experience very much.
Thank you Stroma people. You are all stars.
