I think Alistair Jack lives out at Skarfskerry if its the one I am thinking of on the back road to John O Groats just down the road from the rocket house, unless moved?

I have seen Killer Whales at the Seaquariam in Miami last October, this was in captivity, I have a lot of photos of them that I took myself if you want some I will post them up and you can save them. here is two that I took but I have a bunch more including close ups of the face and so on.

Lynne, try their web site, http://www.caithness-mmm.org/page.php?2
There are some phone numbers etc. on it to give you a start.
From what I've seen about them I would imagine they would be only too please to give some help to your daughter for her project.

don't know if these are appropriate for the age of your daughter but contain lots of good information.
