There will be a few contenders for the 5.
Here are a few from Wikipedia -

James Bremner (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Bremner) (25 September 1784 – August 1856) a notable Scottish (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotland) naval architect (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naval_architect), harbour builder and ship-raiser.
William Barclay (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Barclay_(theologian)), theologian, born 5 December 1907, Wick, died 24 January 1978
John Barneson (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Barneson), businessman, born 1 January 1862, Wick, died 26 February 1941
Dr Donald Finlayson FRSE (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FRSE) MC (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_Cross) (1889-1975) research chemist
Alexander Henry Rhind (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Henry_Rhind), Egyptologist, 1833–1863
Charlotte McShane (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlotte_McShane), a Scottish born Australian triathlete
Henry Horne, 1st Baron Horne (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Horne,_1st_Baron_Horne)

James Bremner has a monument over looking Wick Bay http://www.caithness.org/atoz/statuesandmonuments/jamesbremner/index.htm

Not Wick but James T Calder who wrote the Caithness History has a statue near Wick Railway Station.

And what about our very own Lord Lieutenant of Caithness, Miss Anne Dunnett?

She must be a famous Wicker?

What about Fiona Clyne who was an actress

And Aline Mowat, who is another actress, although she's from south of the mighty river.

Mr Boom has achieved intergalactic fame.

I remember him at the Assembly Rooms about 20 years ago. One of my customers was having a job recalling what the Character name was and so we went from Mr Pongo to Mr Bongo and then finally Mr Boomerang, as the late Angie Cormack couldn't quite get it right as he asked me if I was going to cut out of my work to go and watch the man who would implore youngsters to "Wiggle their knees and touch their toes", something that Jimmy Savile was probably ganting to do back in the 70's.

I am sure Andy will be "Over The Moon" to be nominated here and this picture shows just how far you can go with an old lampshade and a Dounreay Decontamintion Suit:-

There's no more a famous Wicker than "Jimbo". I think he should stand in the next Council elections. He has a lot more intelligence than some of them.
