YOUTH clubs in Thurso and Wick have pleaded with Highland Council not to go ahead with proposed cuts to their funding which they claim could have a disastrous impact on young people in Caithness. Representatives from the club have written a joint letter asking the local authority not to scrap all funding to both organisations in two years' time.
A WICK Academy superfan is looking for his fellow supporters to join him in a march from one of the country's most famous landmarks to the stadium where he hopes his team will make their own history.
