Accused sentenced to 21 months for garage shop robbery
A YOUNG man, who staged an armed robbery at a Wick garage shop has been sentenced to 21 months detention.
Keiran Bowes admitted the crime and breaching bail by failing to appear at the local sheriff court.
Bowes, 20, presented a knife at shop assistant Christine Davidson, at Dunnetts Garage shop, on August 26 and ordered her to empty the till.
He then fled with £100 but was tracked down by the police.
Bowes, who address was given at Polmont Young Offenders Institution, will be subject to supervision for 10 months on his release.
