mackays closing??

I have seen that theres a for sale sign up at mackays at both wick & thurso has anyone heard if their moving or closing?

That would seem strange as the company are currently implementing an expansion policy. And the Wick store has just been undergoing some renovations.

I havent seen the sign, but it would appear from this that Mackays dont own the building. The owners are simply putting the building up for sale with a tenant already in place. Happens all the time, so shouldnt be anything to worry about.

The sign saying that it will not effect business means that the building is for sale with Mackays as the sitting tennent .So they can offload the building /fabric upkeep to a new landlord...

all of the building is mackays there is the stock rooms up there aswell so really they cant get rid of the stock rooms
