Aren't there a lot of huge spiders about these days. Must be something to do with global warming or something!! - Enjoy . . . . .

No, this is not a Harvestman, it looks more like a European Wolf Spider, but its hard to tell with nothing of size to guage it with. I saw a European Wolfg Spider in south of Ireland once, it was about as long as my index finger and pretty skinny, moved like lightning.

I thought it was the scariest thing I ever saw until I moved to Indiana, I have seen things I don't want to recall, I very rarely go barefoot in the garage anymore :mad:

This example (found in the Dinning Room!!) was about 60mm from leg to leg. I've seen bigger in the garden shed but didn't have a camera to hand (it had been surgically removed that day so I could play with the kids!!!!):eek:
